Function Room
Our 119 sq m function room, Kandal, offers great flexibility in seating and can be set up in a number of styles:
Kandal is a modern well-equipped function room, perfectly situated in its own area of the hotel with a break out / registration area immediately adjacent, where tea and coffee can be served, or a bar set up in the evenings.
This break out area leads out to the stunning Fire-Garden Courtyard and through to the stylish Arts Lounge.
Clients can utilize both spaces and will be amazed by the beautiful surroundings in which they are meeting.
With an exceptional array of dining facilities and the tranquil Spa Indochine by the pool, the hotel is ideally appointed and equipped to cater for small meetings and conferences.
Events Spaces
Arts Lounge
The Arts Lounge is the most glamorous and impactful event space in the hotel and lends itself to a number of configurations: from an exclusive 'runway' private dinner for 20 people, to a themed stand up cocktail event for 200.
It was designed by Bill Bensley with special events in mind, to take an assortment of lighting and staging and is perfect for performances, film, fashion runways, exhibitions, themed parties etc. The number and variety of set-up options makes it one of Siem Reap’s most versatile, sophisticated event spaces.
The sunken floor of the lounge can be flooded for dramatic effect and the reflections from the water are magical. The bar running along one end of the Arts Lounge is back-lit with white glass which slowly changes colour at night, once illuminated.
Ice events have now become synonymous with our Arts Lounge and always stun their audience. Parties are hosted on the steps of the Arts Lounge as giant cubes of sparkling ice, suspended from the ceiling, and lit from below by floating candles, slowly melt into the flooded moat below.
Fire-Garden Courtyard
The stunning Fire-Garden Courtyard is the perfect break out area, and can be transformed at night into a wonderful al fresco bar and dining option.
Four sandstone torchères in each corner of the water are lit at sundown to great effect.
Delegates can relax on the swinging day beds around the central water feature, from where they can admire the magnificent gnarled ficus tree that takes centre stage in the water.
Fountain Garden
Adjacent to the Fire-Garden Courtyard, and reached via a lotus walkway, this private area can be used exclusively for your function.
With seating up to 20 pax, this garden setting is perfect for special occasions and private dinner parties.
AHA
Our chic restaurant in the trendy Passage near the Old Market can be used for private functions and parties.
To accommodate larger groups, the restaurant opens up to include the stylish McDermott gallery next door.
